Delivery Policy 2022-001

Background

Our On Site Customer Service Team strives to provide a very high level of service to our customers at the time of delivery. When possible:

Foundations are dropped as close to the hole as reasonably feasible
Upper panels are delivered to a properly identified “work zone” to be removed by hoist or lift truck.
Cap loads are dropped near the basement or slab.
Decking is placed near the delivery vehicle.
Millwork, doors, and windows are placed in the garage or inside the house at entrance level if safe to do so.

Safety

Safety is our priority when delivering material to sites. In the field, the driver has full discretion on where materials are placed.

Policy

Corporate delivery Policy 2022-101 for On Site Customer Service:

On Site Customer Service Professionals have the final say in where product is “dropped”
- Foundation panels will be “dropped” as close to the hole as reasonably possible
- Upper panels will be delivered street side to an identified, safe, “work zone” or other safe area on site
- House packages will be “dropped” as close to the basement or slab as reasonably possible
- Decking will be placed near the delivery vehicle.
- Doors, Millwork, and Windows will be delivered to a garage or to the same level as the “entrance” if safe to do so.
At the Team Member’s discretion, hand-carried material can be brought to other than above for a minimum of $150.
Loads only come back after discussion between Driver, GM (or Controller), Yard Manager, and Salesperson(s). If a decision is made to return, all time involved to be charged to the customer, up to and including original delivery time, driver’s down time, original loading, and unloading.
